I'm almost sure that would not be a problem. I'm not positive though.
Really great breakfast, fresh and tasty, worth a visit. Only downside, they dont offer a bloody Mary!
Had a business lunch here - good for a meeting, not too loud or crowded. Order at the counter and get a number. The menu changes with the farm that is the primary source for that period - and the dishes are quite good and beautifully prepared. I had a smoked trout open-face with crisp skin and a bean hummus, my colleague had Chinese style porridge but with a grain instead of rice. Both of us enjoyed our choices. I’d gladly go again.
Went here on a recommendation from the concierge at our hotel. I had a tasty salad with romaine lettuce and many different fresh fruits. It really hit the spot after having greasy food a few days & chain restaurants as well. Highly recommend!
cozy spot for good coffee & quick simple lunch
This place is a piece of gem. The environment is so clean while you walked in. Summer squash soup is so good!! A must try! I also order the steak salad, honestly I don't quite like it, the beef has very plain flavor, and very chewy, the carrot and potato has the same problem. Hope chef can work more on the sauces.
Came here for a networking event and really enjoyed the appetizers and atmosphere. Great service too!
What a great find! Tucked away off the main street, homage is a very comfy, rustic little cafe with simple but amazing farm to table meals.
Must try, but Hidden away in a laneway. Go to place for breakfast. Coffee is good
Little treasure off the beaten path.I had their avocado toast, possibly the best I've had around SF. The Decor and environment is really inviting, and I love the patterns on the floor. The espresso comes out pretty good, but there are better places. I wish they served bubbly water with the espresso (they currently don't)
Solid breakfast, great place for meetings/work
Breakfast is not bad, many choices indeed
A triple triumph of fantastic service, excellent sourcing and knowledge of their food and wine, and a creative menu populated by unequivocally delicious dishes. Too bad I didn't get a picture of the roasted wings because they were surprisingly massive and flavorful. Freshly baked cookie at the end was awesome! Will definitely come back to try whatever else they put on the menu!
The staff, the food, the coffee, and the selection of beer and wine are all fantastic! David is a skilled chef and a lovely human being. I find myself at Homage quite often. It is laid back, has a mixed crowd, and effortlessly creates a very welcoming environment. Count me in as a loyal guest.
Used to do lunch only, now doing happy hours! Everything has a very local vibe. The décor is unbelievable, and supplied by a local artist too.
I bought a delicious sandwich. It was cool and awesome
Presentation of the food was beautiful. The flavors felt a bit bland.
Fantastic. Just amazing
Good hidden spot for breakfast and lunch or a glass of wine
Great place in a tucked away alley. Definitely deserves more recognition. Sat outside in the amazing weather and enjoyed wine and food from local farms. Cheers
Fantabulous breakfast,. Yeah I said it!
Great breakfast spot. Unique flavors in a fun environment and decent prices.
Nice casual place with good food.
Very cute and trendy. Fresh! Gave 3 stars because my cashier was incredibly grumpy. No smile, "hello," "thank you," or any sign that he was indeed human. Brought me my wine after forgetting it and food with the same amount of enthusiasm. However, other cashier and serving staff on duty were very kind. It's too bad I got stuck with him.
Took the Gnocchis. Loved it !Excellent food and ambiance ! I love the place, the staff, the drinks... prefect 😊
I've been eating here for years and this place is never disappointing! My husband and kids love this place for anytime of day. Sometimes I find myself dreaming about the food. Great food, great environment, and great service. Definitely recommend.
Excellent food. Lovely location. We had pancakes, latte, burrito and fresh green juice. Not getting 5 âï¸ because it's overpriced
Perfect place for breakfast in SF!
Their cappuccino is creamy as it should be. It's also cozy and you can have a conversation.
Good spot for a flat white and a quick bite.
15 bucks for a brioche sandwich. Bread was super dry and crumbly, stuff inside was decent.
Love the space, dishes are creative and it's different every time I return. Wine selection is great as well.
good coffee & simple lunch
Loud at lunch, interesting menu, nice decor
A good option for casual business lunch on crowded Kerney Street. Small but excellent seasonal menu (soup is a standout) with good beer on tap. They bake their own tangy sourdough.
Cool place, good breakfast
Really high quality menu and excellent coffee (up to Australian standards!! 😂). Must visit
Went for breakfast. Nice little spot. Calm, quiet and with quality food. Good for quick business meetings or catching up with friends.
Came here for lunch recently. Warm calamari salad w avocado was excellent. A grilled tuna sandwich very good. Unfortunately we ordered a bottle of wine that they charged us $40 for...it’s $8.99 retail! I know there’s markup but seriously... two salads, one sandwich and the wine cost over $100 for lunch (with tip).
Ahh I loved Homage. The avocado toast was fantastic. The textures they combined with having the solid avocado on top of the mashed avocado... it might sound like too much but they balance it perfectly. I wish I knew all the ingredients they through in here and I’d try creating it myself. I wish I lived in San Francisco just to get this dish more often!
Clean. Delicious farro salad, good wine pairings. Service seemed to know their stuff. Some lights were out and food took a while, but otherwise great!
Great food and coffee. Stopped by for brunch on a Wednesday and it was half full. I had a latte and eggs with their homemade chorizo sausage.
Delicious little gem! Go on the little street as if you are going to the public parking lot and it’s right there with a big H sign. Adorable cozy little place with delicious food.
Very tasty, fresh and local food in a nice atmosphere. It can become very busy during the lunch hour so I arrived at 1:30 a my group had the place mostly to ourselves. We all enjoyed the offerings, I only wish they served a dessert or two. I will return for sure.
The food is good (not great). The dinner menu is limited as the place is more of a wine bar than a restaurant. I had a salad (mixed greens with farro and mushrooms). The ingredients were all fresh , including the endive and radiccio. The carrots and mushrooms didn't really go well with the other ingredients and the dressing had a hint of some spice that also didn't match. The croutons on top didn't belong, plus they were the plain croutons you find at salad buffets. The wines were very good and the service was excellent. Atmosphere-wise it's very pleasant. The clientele looked like professionals enjoying a drink or a small bite after work or people on dates.
Great for a lunch treat with coworkers. Wish they had better evening hours
Love the local approach to the menu. Dinner options are limited, but good choices among them. The gnocchi and mushrooms dish was excellent.
Food is very good, but the place is mighty hot
We had an asparagus soup, 3 different kinds of salads, and the Cuban sandwich. The salads were fresh with interesting/creative mix of vegetables. The soup was similar to miso soup with big pieces of asparagus and peas in it which was not to our liking. Service was fast. The staff were on top of everything from cleaning the tables to delivering the orders to the tabkes.
Why do I like the expensive hipster places so much? It’s in a little alley so it’s a little hidden if you don’t know where it is, but the interior is super nice and clean and doesn’t look like it belongs in an alley. This place is conveniently located near my work and I stopped by here for lunch. I got the house smoked trout tartine and it was delicious! It’s not super big, but I was still filled up. The smoke trout was super fresh, light, and cooked perfectly. The in combination with the toast and veggies were really good. Overall, I love the ambience and the food is good as well. It might be for a once in a while treat though as this place is a little pricey.
They are way too big for their own pants, the space is so big, it doesn't feel homey. The coffee and food is average. In my opinion there are many other many other nicer restaurants close by.
